2019 Disney Resolutions

New year, new Disney goals! With so much happening this year, it’s going to be hard to keep track of everything I want to do.

Whatever you want to call them – resolutions, bucket lists, goals – I make a lot of them. Every year I write a list things I want to accomplish in the coming 12 months, and this year I made a list specifically for Disney.

Without further ado…

The List

  1. Attend the opening day of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. I know it’s crazy – I saw what happened for Pixar Pier and expect that the Star Wars opening will be that crazy but magnified by 10 or 20 times. If nothing else, the rest of the park might be easier to get around.
  2. Visit Toy Story Land! I haven’t been to Disney World since April 2017, so I haven’t seen the new land at Hollywood Studios, and it looks super fun.
  3. Run a RunDisney race. The last race I did was the Avengers Half Marathon in 2017. Since then, all of the races in Disneyland have been suspended due to construction, so in order to complete this I’ll have to go to Florida. (So sad…)
  4. Take a photo with Captain Marvel. She should be arriving at California Adventure very soon!
  5. Take a guided tour of Disneyland. I would LOVE to go on the Happiest Haunts tour, but I have also wanted to do the Walk in Walt’s Footsteps tour for a while.
  6. Attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party OR Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. They are both very different on the east coast than on the west coast.
  7. Go to Tom Sawyer Island – it’s something I never got around to doing.
  8. Stay awake through an entire Mr. Lincoln show.

There we have it, my 2019 Disney Resolutions. This list might be altered or updated throughout the year, but nothing will be deleted. Unfortunately many of these depend on having money for vacation, but I’m hopeful that I can get through them.
